Role overview

This part-time Supervisor position at Centra Ballylinan is based in Ballylynan, County Laois, Ireland. The main responsibility is to support the smooth running of the store by guiding the team, keeping operations efficient, and consistently delivering excellent customer service.

What you will do

• Lead and encourage the team so the store stays productive, organised, and customer-focused.
• Set a strong example in day-to-day behaviour and help build a positive, collaborative working environment.
• Maintain high standards in product rotation, merchandising, and shelf presentation.
• Help onboard new staff and support the training and development of existing employees.
• Handle customer questions and issues promptly, professionally, and in line with store procedures.
• Work with new ideas and operational changes, adapting positively to updated ways of working.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally 2 years or more.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Confidence working with others in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once while staying calm under pressure.
• Good organisational skills, including the ability to delegate and support colleagues effectively.
