About Honey Homes

Honey Homes provides a membership-based home care service that takes care of routine chores, ongoing upkeep, and surprise fixes that come with owning a home. Each member is matched with a dedicated handyperson and uses a straightforward app to coordinate requests and support. The company’s goal is to remove the stress and hassle of home maintenance and replace it with an easier, more enjoyable living experience.

The team includes people who have previously worked at companies such as Airbnb, Google, Opendoor, Yelp, Zillow, and Uber. Honey Homes is funded by Pear.vc, Khosla Ventures, and the co-founders of Doordash, Lyft, and Opendoor.

What you will do

  • Spend the opening months embedded with the Member Success team to gain first-hand knowledge of member needs, internal workflows, and the day-to-day challenges the team solves.
  • Identify repeat operational issues, study the data behind them, redesign processes, document better ways of working, and put solutions in place that reduce manual effort and improve the member experience.
  • Help build an AI-first operations function by designing and rolling out automated workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar emerging platforms to streamline repetitive work, support better decisions, strengthen knowledge sharing, and extend team capacity.
  • Use data to understand member patterns and operational performance, create dashboards, spot trends, and provide leadership with practical analysis that supports better decisions.
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Field Operations, and Member Success to make sure operational findings turn into concrete improvements, including business requirements, rollout support, and internal advocacy.
  • Lead important initiatives end to end, from defining the problem to execution and impact measurement, whether the work involves process improvement, new workflow launches, AI adoption, or system implementation.

What success looks like

  • Build a strong understanding of the Honey Homes member journey and uncover meaningful opportunities to improve it.
  • Create scalable processes, documentation, and operating procedures that reduce friction and improve consistency.
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows that remove repetitive work and improve team efficiency.
  • Develop reporting and operational insights that help leadership identify issues early, before they affect members.
  • Partner effectively with Product and Engineering to improve the tools and workflows used by the Member Success team.
  • Become a trusted problem solver who spots opportunities, follows through, and delivers measurable business impact.

What we are looking for

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Product Operations, Customer Success Operations, consulting, or another fast-moving operational role.
  • Background in startups or other high-growth environments where priorities change quickly.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort using data to diagnose problems and recommend workable solutions.
  • Clear interest in AI, along with experience using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or automation platforms to improve workflows or boost productivity.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills.
  • Comfort collaborating with both business teams and technical teams.
  • Self-directed approach with a tendency to take ownership and improve things without being prompted.
  • Willingness to test ideas, learn fast, and keep improving how work is done.
