Role Summary

The Strategic Planning Lead will drive the creation of integrated strategic plans and use advanced modeling to test business options. This role helps shape how initiatives are prioritized and how resources are allocated across business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and coordinate integrated strategic plans spanning several business units.
  • Perform advanced scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess options.
  • Review competitive positioning and advise on strategic responses.
  • Track emerging market and industry trends, then interpret their impact on strategy.
  • Guide the ranking and prioritization of strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation planning for strategies that are approved.
  • Work with finance teams to check assumptions and forecast inputs.
  • Create executive presentations and high-level briefing materials.
  • Carry out additional related duties as needed.

Education

A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is normally required, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.

Experience

This position generally calls for 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Location Requirement

Candidates must live in Southern California or be willing to relocate after hiring.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The role calls for strong strategic planning capability, corporate development thinking, data analysis, merger and acquisition knowledge, commercial negotiation skills, project management, market analysis, relationship management, financial modeling and valuation experience, and investment due diligence expertise.
