The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Strategic Finance Associate to join our Finance team. This pivotal role will provide direct support for board-level and investor-facing decisions regarding investments and capital allocation strategies across the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling expertise and a talent for transforming complex financial analyses into clear strategic narratives and actionable recommendations for both internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting is strongly preferred. This position will involve close collaboration with senior Finance leadership and other cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct long-range financial modeling and investment analysis, including building and maintaining complex financial models to support major capital allocation decisions, board presentations, investor updates, and executive strategy sessions.
  • Support annual, quarterly, and long-range planning processes, with a focus on optimizing cost structures, operating leverage, and spend efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic sensitivity models to evaluate potential outcomes, risks, and return profiles.
  • Translate scenario analysis outputs into executive-level narratives to guide resource allocation and strategic prioritization.
  • Assist in corporate development and investor relations activities, including financial due diligence for M&A, valuation analysis, return modeling, and synergy assessments.
  • Perform market and competitive research to inform strategic investment decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the creation of investor presentations, earnings support materials, and shareholder communications.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand financial performance and provide essential modeling and forecasting support.
  • Develop and analyze various financial scenarios to assess potential outcomes and risks, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic projects.
  • Support external communications by assisting in the preparation of investor materials, presentations, and analyses.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field; a Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Have 5+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with demonstrated experience in building financial models for executive and investor audiences. Prior in-house strategic finance experience in a SaaS or technology company is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of key SaaS metrics, revenue recognition principles (ASC 606), and the drivers of value in a subscription-based business model.
  • Exhibit expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, with a proven ability to construct robust, scalable, and dynamic models from the ground up.
  • Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • Communicate effectively through excellent written and verbal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, understanding the broader business context and the impact of financial decisions on overall company performance.
  • Be proficient with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Vena Solutions) and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Benefits

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays

  • Tuition reimbursement opportunities
  • Participation in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
