Role overview
Ryanair is recruiting a Stores Officer to join its engineering operation in Dublin Airport, Ireland. This opportunity sits within a major airline group with a large and growing fleet, and the role is based in the hangar at Dublin Airport.
In this position, you will support the stores function by tracking stock movements into and out of stores using the computer system, working closely with the stores supervisor and coordinating with bases across the network. The schedule includes both day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Help ensure all stores activities are managed and tracked in line with EASA requirements.
- Record and account for every movement of stock entering or leaving stores.
- Assist the stores supervisor in keeping all materials-related tasks under proper control.
- Make sure incoming and outgoing goods are processed accurately.
- Support aircraft-on-ground (AOG) requests when needed.
- Carry out duties according to approved procedures and standards.
- Maintain control of all transactions within the computer systems used for stores operations.
- Work with the materials team on the purchase and repair of parts.
- Coordinate with all bases to maintain oversight of parts moving through the network.
- Monitor and manage the cost of services provided by the department.
- Review reports to confirm that records remain complete and correct.
- Take on additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in stores or a similar inventory role is preferred.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and stay organised across multiple tasks.
- Comfort working in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong computer literacy and effective communication skills.
