What You Will Do
You will be responsible for running a single location and making sure the store performs effectively. The role includes hiring, supervising, coaching, and directing team members so the location meets its business goals and maintains high service standards.
Training and Development
To set you up for success, the company provides paid Store Management Leadership Training that lasts 8 or more weeks, along with mentorship and support from the Panda community. The organization also emphasizes ongoing leadership development and growth into more advanced management roles.
Perks and Benefits
This role comes with a competitive compensation package that includes bonus potential, free meals during shifts, and a wide range of benefits for full-time associates. Additional offerings include medical, vision, and dental coverage, voluntary short-term disability, cancer income protection, a pre-tax dependent care flexible spending account, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement/funeral leave, leave share support, discounts on theme parks and gym memberships, community giving opportunities, education assistance, scholarships, and an associate referral bonus. Income protection benefits such as disability, life, and AD&D insurance are also included. Benefit eligibility must be maintained to continue receiving plan coverage.
Requirements
Applicants should have a high school diploma. The role also requires flexibility to work at a store within a 50-mile radius, availability for a schedule that may include weekends, and ServeSafe certification for food safety.
ADA and Work Environment
This position involves a fast-moving restaurant setting where work areas may be hot, noisy, and space-limited. Team members are expected to stand for long periods, work around steam and food vapors, handle hot and cold food preparation, use kitchen equipment including a Chinese cook knife, and maintain accuracy while working quickly. The job may require lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch counters to serve guests. Strong verbal communication, adaptability, and the ability to manage conflict and changing priorities are important.
