Role overview
The Store Manager will be responsible for delivering store objectives while ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently met by the retail team. The role focuses on equipping staff with the guidance and support needed to drive sales performance, running the store according to company and brand procedures, and encouraging repeat business through the loyalty program. The position is based in Doha, Qatar, and reports store performance insights to the Area Manager and Operations Manager, including updates on employees and products.
Core responsibilities
- Coach and direct store staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
- Maintain a polished, fashion-conscious appearance and keep product knowledge current to help reduce stock loss.
- Stay informed about new launches, trends, and fashion direction so customer needs can be anticipated effectively.
- Control stock loss and oversee stockroom organization and management.
- Ensure all store processes follow brand standards, company procedures, and internal policies at all times.
- Use innovative selling methods to help the store meet or exceed sales targets.
- Keep adequate inventory levels available to support strong sales performance.
- Review store administration each week and address any mismatches or issues found.
- Handle the daily roster, leave planning, and staff grievances for retail employees.
- Maintain visual merchandising presentation in line with the required standards.
- Actively promote the Club Apparel loyalty program to encourage repeat purchases.
- Monitor store operations closely and share employee and product-related feedback with the Area Manager.
- Keep security awareness high across the store and avoid any negligence.
- Stay current on the wider group’s brands to support cross-selling and suggestive selling.
- Take full ownership of day-to-day and end-to-end store operations.
- Be physically capable of standing for long periods and handling heavy lifting when needed.
