Role overview

This entry-level retail sales associate position is designed for people who need flexible scheduling. The job involves the everyday tasks that keep a convenience store running smoothly, including cashiering, handling cash, processing fuel purchases, cleaning, and restocking shelves. In some foodservice-focused locations, the role also includes food preparation and following food safety practices.

What you will do

• Provide a positive customer experience and work to meet or exceed expectations on every visit.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers at all times.
• Prepare and present food properly where foodservice duties apply, including making coffee.
• Handle cash and fuel transactions accurately.
• Promote the company’s rewards and loyalty program.
• Follow applicable health code and food safety guidelines.
• Manage multiple tasks while regularly bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $11.00 to $14.74. This range is stated in good faith for jobs performed in the listed state and may change in the future. Final pay can be above or below the advertised range depending on company policies, applicable terms, and legal requirements. Bonus, commission, long-term incentive pay, and benefits are not guaranteed unless and until awarded under company policies.
