Role overview
Walmart Canada is hiring a Stock Unloader Associate to help keep the receiving area and sales floor moving smoothly. This role focuses on unloading trailers, sorting and processing merchandise, moving pallets to the shop floor, and supporting a safe, tidy, and customer-friendly store environment.
This opportunity is well suited to someone interested in retail or customer service and looking to build hands-on experience in store operations.
Key duties
- Set up and prepare the receiving area for incoming product.
- Unload general merchandise trailers and separate items as needed.
- Carry out live unloading for merchandise that remains on the trailer.
- Protect the cold chain when handling refrigerated and frozen goods during receiving and stocking.
- Move palletized merchandise to the sales floor for overnight work.
- Help stock the sales floor when assigned and assist customers when required.
- Apply labels and organize overstock items properly.
- Support a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace by following company procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and making sure displays and fixtures are secure.
Pay information
The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15.
