Role overview
This is a Clinical Staff Educator position focused on procedural departments such as IR, IR Pulmonary, and GI/Cath Lab. The main purpose of the role is to guide new-hire onboarding, support continuous competency building, and encourage professional development so the team can deliver better patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver education programs for procedural-area staff.
- Evaluate learning needs and work with leadership to build training plans that address those needs.
- Support new employee orientation and help staff strengthen hands-on and clinical skills.
- Take part in patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Promote an environment of ongoing learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license.
- 2 to 5 years of clinical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with leaders and clinical staff.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
Work schedule
The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts determined by educational and departmental needs.
