About the role

As a Sports Advisor, you will represent the brand on the shop floor and help drive sales by delivering excellent service, understanding customer needs, and supporting the day-to-day running of the store.
Key responsibilities
- Provide each shopper with a helpful, personal, and positive in-store experience.
- Know the product range well, including the current catalogue and live promotions.
- Speak with customers to understand what they need and recommend the most suitable products to support sales.
- Contribute actively to sustainability targets by following and supporting company policies and initiatives.
- Make use of in-store tools and systems such as assisted selling, Safesize, e-receipts, and radio communication.
- Keep back-of-house and customer support areas orderly, clean, and easy to move through.
- Replenish stock and maintain shelves, rails, fixtures, and displays to a high visual standard.
- Help with deliveries and handle stock safely and accurately.
- Stay alert to store security risks, including potential shoplifting, and follow prevention procedures.
- Take ownership of your development and look for ways to improve your performance.
- Work the till, process payments, and ensure customers leave with a positive final impression.
- Carry out other duties when required.
Requirements
- A warm, approachable, and engaging personality is essential.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly preferred.
- Retail experience with a quality brand would be an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a lively, customer-focused attitude are important.
- Willingness to take initiative and support extra tasks as needed.
- Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work midweek and weekends throughout the year.
