About the Organization

UFC is a leading global mixed martial arts promotion, reaching hundreds of millions of fans through live events, broadcast distribution, and digital products such as UFC FIGHT PASS. Program Overview

This internship is intended for students who are currently enrolled in a degree program. It is a hands-on, in-person opportunity based in Las Vegas, NV. The organization does not offer relocation support, housing, or transportation assistance.

Important Dates

  • Fall internship postings open externally on July 1.
  • Applications are accepted through July 24.
  • Interviews and selection are scheduled from July 27 to August 14.
  • The internship runs for 12 weeks, from August 31 to November 20.

What You Will Do

The internship is designed to help students apply classroom learning in a real corporate environment. You will work closely with the Sport Science team, contribute to daily department activities, and support projects tied to UFC’s ongoing growth.

  • Support monitoring and assessment work, making sure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Help prepare, plan, and calibrate testing tools and evaluation activities so they operate effectively.
  • Carry out monitoring and assessment interventions when required to support research and performance objectives.
  • Process data, maintain databases, and perform analysis to help the department meet its goals.
  • Keep the laboratory and equipment clean, sanitary, and compliant with safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to address the organization’s sport science needs.
  • Review emerging technologies and innovations in sport science that could improve departmental capabilities.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must be enrolled in a higher education institution and pursuing a degree relevant to the role. Candidates must also be currently residing in the United States. The ideal intern brings strong attention to detail, a strong work ethic, solid data handling and analysis ability, and the capacity to work independently. A genuine interest in supporting elite combat athletes is important. Experience with athletes in weight-class sports is preferred.
