Job description
Role overview
The Specialist in Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership helps design and deliver engagement plans that strengthen relationships with important internal and external stakeholders. The position also supports partnership work, including collaboration agreements and MoUs, while making sure communication stays consistent with the goals of the Group Sustainability & Risk Unit (GSRU).
Key responsibilities
- Put stakeholder engagement plans and strategies into action across the GSRU.
- Handle regular communication and coordination with a range of key stakeholders.
- Support the preparation, discussion, and administration of partnership agreements and memorandums of understanding.
- Organize content and logistics for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder events.
- Monitor engagement progress and partnership outcomes, and share status updates and reports.
- Keep the stakeholder database current and ensure all interaction records are complete and accurate.
- Act as a main contact for stakeholder questions and work with the relevant SU teams to provide responses.
- Identify possible new partners and engagement opportunities that fit GSRU’s strategic priorities.
- Help improve stakeholder engagement processes and the wider engagement framework.
- Guide and support junior specialists as needed.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a closely related discipline is required. Strong command of English and Arabic is needed. The role calls for 5–7 years of experience in stakeholder relations, corporate affairs, or partnership management, along with hands-on exposure to stakeholder engagement planning and corporate partnerships. Experience in the Maritime or Ports sector is highly preferred.
