About the Role
Leverage your accounting and finance expertise to become a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Major Duties
- Conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative challenges.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with various law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to effectively perform law enforcement duties.
Key Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Must meet all FBI employment eligibility criteria.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university is required. A degree in accounting or a related field such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting is preferred. All degrees must be verified with official college transcripts.
