About the Role
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking individuals with accounting and finance expertise to join their ranks as Special Agents. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical and financial skills in critical national security investigations. You will be instrumental in combating threats such as terrorism, cyberattacks, and fraud, utilizing your ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and support investigations. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity threats, and public safety issues.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet diverse investigative challenges.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to effectively perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to undertake travel as necessary for investigations.
- Must meet all FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university is required, with a preference for degrees in accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.
- All degrees must be verified through the submission of college transcripts.
- Resume must not exceed two pages and should detail relevant work experience with start and end dates.
- Required supporting documents include college transcripts, DD 214 for veterans, and SF-15 and VA letter for disabled veterans if applicable.
