Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is based at Anjana Spa, SO Hotel Ras Al Khaimah. The Spa Attendant helps keep daily spa activities running smoothly by setting up treatment rooms, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across spa spaces, and making sure towels, linens, and guest amenities are always available and neatly presented.
Key Duties
The role includes greeting guests, sharing simple information about the spa facilities, escorting them around the spa, and supporting locker room and relaxation area needs. You will also work closely with therapists and reception to help with schedule coordination, treatment flow, and product availability.
Health, Safety, and Standards
In addition, the Spa Attendant is expected to watch over facility safety, escalate maintenance concerns, follow sanitation and hygiene procedures, and maintain the hotel brand’s service standards in every guest interaction.
Qualifications
- Previous work in hospitality, spa, wellness, or fitness settings, with a clear focus on guest care and satisfaction.
- Working knowledge of spa basics such as room preparation, linen and amenity handling, and hygiene and safety compliance.
- Good communication and people skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with guests and colleagues from varied backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and comfort following procedures and checklists in a busy setting.
- Physical capacity to remain on your feet for long periods, carry supplies, and keep spa areas clean and orderly.
- Basic English for routine communication; extra languages are considered beneficial in a multicultural workplace.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
- Experience in a luxury hotel or resort spa is an advantage, along with familiarity with spa and wellness products and services.
