About the role

This position sits at the center of technical sales and customer strategy. As a Solutions Consultant, you will help organizations understand their current environment, shape the right security approach, and realize the full value of Palo Alto Networks’ offerings. The role calls for technical leadership across on-premises, cloud, and security operations solutions, with a strong focus on driving transformation and customer success.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and execute strategic technical account plans that help meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Assess customer business needs and translate them into solution designs, demonstrations, and high-level architectures across the broader portfolio.
  • Support adoption of the platform by helping customers improve productivity, operational efficiency, security outcomes, and innovation capacity.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover technical, operational, and commercial priorities for prospects and existing customers.
  • Work in close coordination with Professional Services, Customer Success, and specialist teams to support implementation and adoption.
  • Deliver clear presentations, demos, and workshops that simplify complex technical ideas for different audiences.
  • Run technical validation activities and apply best practices to help secure technical wins in opportunities.
  • Collaborate across functions and align supporting teams such as specialists, channel resources, and customer support around a unified approach.
  • Promote complete solution offerings, including professional services, to accelerate customer value realization.
  • Track the competitive landscape and position the company’s cybersecurity strengths effectively.
  • Invest continuously in technical and professional growth while contributing to the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and build relationships that support a security architecture transformation roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
  • Working knowledge in one or more of these areas: networking, network security, cybersecurity, private/public cloud security, SOC/endpoint, or SASE.
  • Background in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and support new business initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and secure buy-in in customer-facing or internal environments; prior pre-sales experience is ideal.
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical presentations, workshops, or validation sessions.
  • Exposure to selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC transformation technologies.
  • Ability to partner with customer support teams to drive successful solution deployment and adoption.
  • Experience handling complex sales cycles with multiple buying groups and multi-product opportunities is preferred.
  • Willingness to support field sales activities, including travel for in-person customer meetings as needed.
  • Strong command of both English and Arabic.
