Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in full-stack development. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of essential platform components, APIs, and web interfaces that support everyday operations. The position calls for a hands-on approach prioritizing system architecture, code quality, and scalability. Experience in 3D visualization or machine learning integration is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance core application features.
- Create backend services and integrations utilizing AWS technologies.
- Set and uphold standards for application architecture, performance, and security.
- Work closely with product teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable software releases.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor fellow developers, and promote coding best practices.
- Improve continuous integration and deployment workflows within AWS infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience developing modern web applications.
- Strong grounding in computer science including data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Expertise in Node.js/TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services such as EventBridge, Cognito, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and relational databases.
- Competence in other programming languages like Python and C++.
- Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions at the architectural level.
Preferred But Not Required
- Experience with healthcare or other regulated data involving privacy and compliance.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integrations, distributed computing, or high-performance computing systems.
