Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Analyst to support AI model improvement through coding-focused tasks. You will join DataAnnotation’s coding community, which includes more than 100,000 professionals across front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and other engineering specialties working on AI development with real-world impact.
This role combines flexibility with technical challenge. You will work with advanced AI systems to create and solve programming problems, build feature-rich applications, and turn data into meaningful insights through analysis and visualization. The work helps train and refine intelligent systems so they can learn, adapt, and improve.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive a confirmation email and paid assignments will become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Design coding tasks for AI chatbots and review the responses they generate.
- Assess AI-produced work for accuracy, functionality, and overall performance.

Qualifications
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level.
- Practical experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging processes.
- Excellent writing ability and a solid command of grammar.
- A bachelor’s degree, either completed or currently in progress.
- Prior work as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, Programmer, or Software Engineer Analyst is an advantage.
