Role overview

Blue Ocean Consulting is hiring a creative, meticulous, and self-driven Personal Page Manager to handle and expand the online presence of a respected leader and entrepreneur in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. The role focuses on personal branding, leadership communication, storytelling, and community impact, with the goal of building a digital presence that communicates trust, influence, engagement, and business value.

Content strategy and publishing

  • Design, write, and plan content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, then publish it on a regular schedule.
  • Create posts that showcase leadership perspectives, business promotions, Rotary service projects, achievements, and community-based initiatives.
  • Keep the content calendar consistent so the brand maintains steady visibility and a reliable flow of posts.

Brand voice and representation

  • Protect and present a polished, genuine, and influential personal brand voice.
  • Make sure every message reflects leadership values, professionalism, and a strong public image.
  • Help position the personal brand as trustworthy, impact-focused, and connected to the community.

Community engagement

  • Review and professionally handle comments, messages, and other interactions across platforms.
  • Develop constructive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and online audiences.
  • Use engagement tactics that encourage conversation and active participation.

Content production and coordination

  • Draft engaging captions and thought-leadership copy.
  • Gather supporting visuals, graphics, and short-form video content.
  • Align content delivery with events, projects, speaking engagements, and achievements.

Performance tracking and reporting

  • Monitor audience growth, reach, engagement levels, and post performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports that summarize findings and suggest improvements.
  • Spot trends and content opportunities that can help increase digital influence.

Campaign and event support

  • Assist with digital promotion for Rotary Club events, outreach programs, fundraisers, and business activities.
  • Build awareness campaigns that improve visibility and encourage audience involvement.

What the role requires

The ideal candidate should have excellent written communication and storytelling ability, along with practical experience managing professional LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram pages. A solid understanding of personal branding and executive communication is important, as is the ability to work discreetly, handle confidential information, and stay highly organized. Creativity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools will be considered an advantage.

Preferred background

Candidates with experience in social media management, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or branding are preferred. Interest in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community development will be an asset. Exposure to Rotary or other nonprofit/community-focused initiatives is also a plus.

Role objective

The purpose of this position is to strengthen personal credibility, broaden professional influence, raise audience engagement, and increase business visibility through a well-planned and impactful online presence.
