About the Role

We are seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to elevate Snoonu's social platforms into powerful growth engines and revenue drivers. This role involves architecting a comprehensive social media strategy that integrates content, regional cultural insights, data analytics, and high-level execution. You will manage the entire social ecosystem, developing scalable processes for planning, publishing, performance tracking, community engagement, and large-scale influencer collaborations and campaigns. Serving as a key liaison between executive leadership, creative production, and performance teams, you will ensure all content is exceptional, on-brand, and directly contributes to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and scale Snoonu's comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Translate business goals into effective social media plans, major campaigns, and detailed content calendars.
  • Identify and leverage regional trends, popular formats, and cultural moments in Qatar and the MENA region to position Snoonu prominently in local conversations.
  • Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all executive communications, cross-functional campaigns, and daily organic content.
  • Oversee and refine the content publishing workflow, setting high standards for captions, visual content, and platform-specific formats.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to produce high-quality, innovative digital content.
  • Establish frameworks for timely content creation, enabling the team to react quickly to emerging trends and capitalize on moment marketing opportunities safely.
  • Implement a robust analytics framework to measure performance, focusing on conversion metrics like app downloads and order frequency rather than vanity metrics.
  • Analyze social data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business improvements to stakeholders.
  • Continuously audit and optimize content testing, paid social strategies, and audience segmentation.
  • Manage community engagement protocols across all channels using enterprise tools, ensuring industry-leading response times.
  • Develop response strategies for customer service escalations to mitigate risks and protect brand reputation.
  • Identify opportunities to foster community loyalty and convert followers into brand advocates.
  • Lead macro-influencer strategies, including contract alignment, coverage planning, and native content integration.
  • Ensure influencer partnerships align with Snoonu's brand narrative.
  • Support major product launches and company initiatives with impactful social media campaigns.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the social media team, including executives, coordinators, and content creators.
  • Establish clear operational workflows, KPIs, and performance review structures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, external agencies, and the social media budget to maximize ROI.
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably within an agency or in-house corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and scaling high-volume social media accounts in fast-paced environments, with a preference for experience in tech, hyper-growth startups, consumer platforms, or on-demand delivery services.
  • A strong analytical aptitude combined with creative thinking and a focus on performance and conversion.
  • In-depth knowledge of platform algorithms, current digital trends, paid social advertising, and audience analytics.
  • Mandatory fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills in both languages, with a deep understanding of Qatari dialect, local humor, and cultural nuances. Literal translations are not acceptable.
  • The ability to be strategic yet agile, with a keen eye for mobile-first content creation and a willingness to guide content production when spontaneous opportunities arise.
