Role Overview
Vita Coco is hiring a Social Media Manager who sits at the crossroads of culture, creativity, data, and coconut water. This is a great fit for someone who is deeply connected to online culture, understands what is trending, knows what is worth acting on, and can judge what makes sense for the brand.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for shaping the brand’s social presence, creating engaging content, using performance data to improve results, and collaborating with teams across the company to keep social execution moving smoothly.
Social Strategy
- Lead Vita Coco’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, and newer social platforms.
- Define the brand’s voice, tone, and point of view in culture.
- Identify trends, cultural moments, and creator opportunities that can be activated authentically.
- Set goals and measure performance together with cross-functional partners.
Content Creation
- Develop, brief, and produce short-form, platform-first content, with a strong focus on TikTok.
- Own content calendars and day-to-day posting and execution.
- Turn campaigns, launches, and partnerships into content that feels native to social media.
- Step in when needed for editing, ideation, or appearing on camera.
Performance and Optimization
- Review content performance and turn insights into practical next steps.
- Improve formats, posting times, and creative direction based on what performs best.
- Balance creative instincts with a results-driven mindset.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Brand, Creative, Growth, Sales, and Influencer teams.
- Support retail activations, partnerships, and campaign moments through social media.
- Keep workstreams moving in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z culture and online trends.
- Excellent short-form video creation and editing skills; TikTok experience is essential.
- Strong creative instincts, taste, and brand judgment.
- Highly active and engaged on social platforms.
- Comfortable traveling about once per month.
- Experience in CPG is not necessary; candidates from any industry are welcome if they have the right social media background.

Compensation
The estimated base salary range for this role is USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually. Actual pay may vary based on location, relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors. Depending on the level and role offered, the compensation package may also include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with medical, financial, and other benefits.
