Role overview
OPORA Foundation is looking for a mid-level Social Media Manager who can combine creativity with strategic thinking to grow the organization’s digital presence and deepen audience engagement. This role centers on shaping social media direction, maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm, expanding online communities, and using performance data to improve results and brand visibility.
What you will do
- Create and implement social media plans that support business priorities, brand direction, and marketing objectives.
- Oversee the organization’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other suitable channels.
- Conceptualize, produce, schedule, and publish content such as posts, videos, stories, reels, and campaign assets.
- Build and manage content calendars to keep communication regular and effective.
- Keep track of social trends, audience behavior, competitor activity, and platform changes.
- Interact with the audience by answering comments and messages and helping maintain a positive online community.
- Review campaign and content performance through analytics tools and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, design, content, PR, and product teams on integrated campaigns and initiatives.
- Support influencer collaborations, brand tie-ups, user-generated content efforts, and community-building initiatives when needed.
- Assist with paid social campaigns and coordinate with advertising teams to improve campaign outcomes.
- Monitor important metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, conversions, and audience sentiment.
- Prepare recurring performance summaries and strategy updates for management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to social media management, digital marketing, content marketing, communications, or a similar area is preferred.
- Strong grasp of major social platforms, their algorithms, current trends, and effective posting practices.
- Excellent writing, brand storytelling, communication, and community engagement abilities.
- Hands-on experience with content creation software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later, or comparable tools is a plus.
- Working knowledge of social analytics, reporting, and audience growth techniques.
- Basic awareness of paid social advertising and campaign coordination is beneficial.
- Strong creativity, planning skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines in a high-paced setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
