Company Overview

IMAMOM is a startup built around parenting support, designed to make family outings more convenient and comfortable for parents with babies. It introduced India’s first dedicated Baby Café & Lounge at HILITE Mall, Calicut, with safe baby food, hygienic diaper-changing facilities, and comfortable feeding areas for families.

In the last four years, the company has developed into a trusted parenting ecosystem. Its offerings include workshops, lactation counselling, early nutrition support, and curated baby products. Through its sub-brand, Tender Nutrition, the business has also entered baby food manufacturing.

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode for a Social Media Manager. The role is focused on building IMAMOM’s online visibility and helping drive sales through content creation, Shopify operations, and direct customer engagement. It is a practical, execution-heavy role for someone who can manage both creative and operational work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, and edit reels, promotional clips, workshop coverage, and product-focused content.
  • Document activities across IMAMOM’s Baby Lounge, Café, workshops, products, and Tender Nutrition.
  • Maintain and follow a regular content calendar.
  • Produce creative assets that stay aligned with the brand’s look and voice.
  • Update and manage the Shopify store, including product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images.
  • Coordinate stock changes and keep inventory information current.
  • Track online orders and support timely fulfillment.
  • Suggest promotions and sales ideas to improve online performance.
  • Manage Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels.
  • Publish content consistently and work to increase engagement.
  • Reply to comments and direct messages.
  • Build stronger interaction with the parenting audience.
  • Handle queries received through WhatsApp and social platforms.
  • Follow up on leads related to workshops and products.
  • Support lead conversion into confirmed purchases.
  • Execute campaigns for workshops, products, the café, and events.
  • Run and track Meta Ads when required.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on ability in social media marketing and social media optimization.
  • Good understanding of social media analytics and related tools.
  • Prior experience managing and growing social media accounts.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills for audience interaction.
  • Proficiency in English.

Additional Information

This role is entirely on-site in Kozhikode. The job is intended for someone who can actively manage both content production and online store operations, while also handling customer interactions and sales-oriented follow-up.
