Job description

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a social-first creator who enjoys working with trends, products, and fast-moving content. The position blends social media coordination with hands-on content production, including publishing support, calendar execution, and quick-turn creative tied to what is happening now in culture.

The assignment is based in the Greater Nashville area with a hybrid setup, and 2–3 days in the office is preferred. It is a 6–12 month contract with a strong possibility of being extended or converted.

The role is best suited to someone who does not want to plan content far ahead, but instead likes to react quickly and turn current moments into engaging posts and videos.

Social Media Coordination

  • Oversee publishing activity across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Keep social content calendars and posting schedules running smoothly.
  • Rework existing content into stories, reels, and other formats tailored to each platform.
  • Track and spot opportunities for user-generated content.
  • Make sure captions, written copy, and on-screen text are clear, accurate, and polished.

Content Creation

  • Produce social-native content from concept through capture.
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content and reels.
  • Create lifestyle-driven content centered around products.
  • Support seasonal initiatives and campaigns built around trends.
  • Adjust existing creative assets so they work well across multiple social channels.

Reactive and Trend-Based Content

  • Keep an eye on trending topics, viral moments, and social patterns.
  • Develop content ideas quickly, often within the same day or the next day.
  • Identify new sounds, memes, products, and content formats that are gaining traction.
  • Help the brand respond faster than a traditional agency process would allow.
  • Work with internal partners to take advantage of cultural moments while they are still timely.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring at least 2 years of experience in social media and content creation. The role calls for hands-on experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, along with a solid grasp of Reels and short-form video production. Retail product experience is a strong plus.

Strong candidates will be comfortable filming and editing independently, managing publishing workflows and social calendars, and working with UGC or creator-style content. The ability to shift priorities quickly, communicate clearly, and stay organized is important.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Sprinklr is a plus.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing is beneficial.
  • Photography skills are an advantage.
  • Prior work with agencies is helpful.
  • Background in home décor, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer products is preferred.
