Job description

Role Overview

Incorp Pro Canada Inc. is a Canadian corporate paralegal business that supports entrepreneurs and small business owners with incorporation services across Canada. The organization also operates alongside other established Canadian companies in real estate, promotional printing, corporate paralegal services, and corporate registries, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and Edmonton.

This role is intended for someone who can turn concepts into finished digital content. The selected person will take ownership of creating, recording, managing, and improving video content for YouTube TV, social media pages, blogs, and other widely used platforms such as Wikipedia and Reddit. The work will include both regular business hours and out-of-hours coverage.

Core Duties

  • Produce, record, edit, maintain, and improve video content for YouTube channels.
  • Work under the direction of the social media assistant manager and general manager.
  • Handle YouTube channel optimization tasks such as tag creation, playlist organization, end screen setup, thumbnail development, and YouTube SEO.
  • Locate international source material, translate it into the required language, and coordinate with external studios through to final delivery.
  • Research topic-based narratives and gather suitable images, clips, and media for use by the editing team.
  • Support the growth and day-to-day management of social media accounts by improving engagement, expanding brand awareness, increasing followers, driving traffic, and helping generate leads.
  • Take on additional operational tasks as needed in a growing company, which may include receptionist duties, postal label preparation, photocopying, faxing, administrative support, news presenting, audio narration or voice work for selected videos, and assistance to the business development team.

Work Pattern and Setup

The position is based in Edmonton for the first 6 months for training and full setup. After training and once the required performance level has been reached, there may be an opportunity to relocate to Toronto. The schedule includes an 8-hour shift, and work outside normal business hours may also be required. Remote work is available on a need basis.

Qualifications and Capabilities

  • A minimum bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from a Canadian university or college is required, with preferred study areas including economics, finance, BBA, marketing, multimedia, IT, e-commerce, mathematics, computer science, or another related discipline.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Canada is expected.
  • Practical knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, and other video platform best practices for SEO and discoverability is important.
  • YouTube Music Certification and knowledge of AdSense are needed, along with understanding of YouTube/Facebook Content ID and digital rights management.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and should be interested in long-term growth within the company.
  • Strong English speaking ability is required.
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills are necessary in a fast-moving environment.
  • Hands-on ability with video editing, graphic design, Google Drive, Excel, web browsers, social media tools, and e-commerce platforms is expected.
  • A cooperative attitude, patience while dealing with customers, and comfort working in a diverse environment are desirable.
  • A willingness to learn, receive ongoing training, and contribute to building a new project is essential.
