About the Company

Skin Gym is a women-led beauty label built on a blend of traditional and contemporary beauty practices. The brand creates innovative tools and wellness solutions for both face and body, and its products are sold through major retail partners such as Target, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, CVS, Walmart, and Amazon. Skin Gym has also received coverage in publications including Vogue, Allure, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Role Summary

This position is a practical, in-person role centered on content execution, creator and community support, and the daily operations of social media. The right person will be highly organized, self-directed, detail-focused, and enthusiastic about beauty and social platforms. The role partners closely with the Social Media Manager, Creative Team, Influencer Team, and Marketing Team to support campaigns, product launches, retailer activations, and broader brand initiatives.

Content and Social Media

  • Plan, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and newer social channels.
  • Help produce content by filming, editing, and posting assets.
  • Draft captions, build story content, and contribute to day-to-day community interaction.
  • Stay current on platform trends, trending audio, creators, and product updates.
  • Keep content calendars and posting schedules organized and up to date.
  • Make sure all output stays aligned with brand standards and campaign goals.

Community Management

  • Reply to comments, direct messages, and customer questions.
  • Watch engagement patterns and look for ways to deepen audience interaction.
  • Pass customer service concerns to the right internal teams when needed.
  • Help protect and strengthen the brand’s reputation across social channels.

Influencer and Creator Support

  • Support outreach to influencers and manage ongoing creator relationships.
  • Help coordinate gifting and product seeding programs.
  • Track creator commitments, content deadlines, and submissions.
  • Assist with affiliate marketing efforts and TikTok Shop creator initiatives.
  • Maintain creator databases and related reporting.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries for social channels.
  • Monitor content performance, engagement, follower growth, and other key metrics.
  • Spot top-performing content and suggest future opportunities based on results.
  • Keep an eye on competitor activity and broader industry trends.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Help with product launches, retailer campaigns, events, and brand activations.
  • Coordinate with creative and marketing partners so deadlines are met.
  • Provide support for photoshoots, content production days, and creator events as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital marketing. They should be comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and similar channels, and be able to communicate clearly in both writing and speech. Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Later, and Meta Business Suite is preferred, along with solid organizational and project coordination ability. Success in this role requires the ability to manage several priorities in a fast-moving setting, plus a genuine interest in beauty, wellness, fashion, and current social trends. Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer brands is preferred, as is hands-on exposure to influencers, affiliates, TikTok Shop, basic photo/video editing, and creator programs.
