Role overview
Almayar International for Sea and Air Shipping is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join its team and manage the social media accounts for the company’s shipping and delivery businesses.
The role is based in Tripoli, Libya, and is fully remote, with tasks handled according to operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain both companies’ social media profiles across relevant platforms.
- Handle audience comments and keep the conversation active with followers.
- Prepare, schedule, and publish content in line with the approved marketing plan.
- Monitor engagement and work to strengthen audience participation on the channels.
- Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to create suitable content.
- Produce regular performance updates covering engagement and reach metrics.
- Track competitors and suggest ideas to improve the accounts.
- Post daily stories featuring incoming shipping requests received during the day.
- Regularly highlight customer feedback and experiences through featured stories.
Requirements
- Prior experience managing social media accounts.
- Strong writing and communication abilities.
- Capability to plan, organize, and schedule content effectively.
- Initiative and the ability to collaborate well within a team.
