About the Role

We are looking for a full-time SOC Analyst who is technically skilled, eager to continuously learn, security-focused, self-motivated, and capable of managing projects independently. The Information Security team safeguards the organization's digital assets by designing, deploying, and enhancing cybersecurity frameworks. This vital position is entrusted with securing infrastructure, cloud deployments, endpoint devices, and data from unauthorized access, modification, or compromise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security solutions independently while working with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Continuously assess and enhance security systems to improve defenses.
  • Conduct vulnerability research, execute scans, and mitigate identified threats.
  • Advance organizational security policies and best practices.
  • Create new security workflows, cross-train colleagues, and assist employees on security topics.
  • Deliver security awareness training and conduct testing to ensure protocol compliance.
  • Perform cybersecurity incident triage, log analysis, and execute remediation tasks.
  • Evaluate and minimize excessive or inappropriate access privileges to uphold least privilege principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
  • Prior internship or cooperative experience in Information Security is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and their organization-wide application.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response, Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, Privileged Access Management/Identity and Access, and Active Directory.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, adeptness at working collaboratively in small groups, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Basic scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Python.
