Snowflake Lead Data Engineer

Overview

This is a full-time, work-from-office opportunity for an experienced Snowflake Lead Data Engineer. The role is open across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, with Mumbai listed as the primary location. The budget goes up to 30 LPA.

Role Summary

The position calls for a seasoned data engineering professional who can lead Snowflake-based data initiatives, build robust pipelines, and guide a team of engineers. The engagement expects strong hands-on capability along with leadership experience in a delivery-focused environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL and ELT workflows for data movement and transformation.
• Build reliable data pipelines that support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Work extensively with SQL and advanced Python for engineering tasks.
• Apply data modelling and governance practices while shaping enterprise data assets.
• Lead and mentor data engineers, with a minimum of 4 years of team leadership experience required.
• Contribute to Azure-based data platform work and related integrations.

Experience and Availability

Interview Process

• Round 2: Face-to-face interview, which is mandatory
