Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Account Manager to help grow the existing customer base and increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling. This role works both independently and in close partnership with SDR and CSM teams to support expansion and customer growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Spot opportunities within current accounts to expand revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
- Take ownership of a quota-carrying sales role, managing the full sales process and maintaining your own pipeline while contributing to the wider team pipeline.
- Develop deep product knowledge and become a trusted expert on the platform.
- Review customer data to uncover growth and expansion potential.
- Represent the company with the level of service and professionalism the brand is known for.
- Work closely with SDR and CSM colleagues to deliver a smooth customer journey.
- Feed customer needs and market feedback back into product discussions.
- Handle several tasks and projects in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- Show initiative, self-direction, and a strong sense of ownership.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive in a SaaS business is required.
- A positive, driven, and energetic approach is essential.
- Proven ability to close deals and consistently exceed monthly quotas.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to learn independently and work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Comfort working in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- Must be located within a commutable distance to Melbourne and available to work from the office 3 days per week.
