About the Role
Enable Ireland is hiring a Shop Manager for its upcoming Furniture Shop in Cork City. This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The salary is €32,046 per year, with a 2% profit share and bonus payable on a pro-rata basis if targets are achieved, along with a strong benefits package. Annual leave includes 22 days plus 2 gift days per year.
Role Summary
The Shop Manager will oversee the everyday running of the store, lead and encourage staff and volunteers, and work towards sales goals that help support Enable Ireland’s services. The role suits someone with retail experience who enjoys being on the shop floor, can drive excellent customer service, and is motivated by working for a charity.
Key Duties
- Take responsibility for managing and developing the shop in line with an agreed work plan and financial targets.
- Train, supervise and oversee both paid staff and volunteers.
- Maintain an inviting internal and external shop presentation that meets brand standards.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should bring retail experience, proven leadership and motivational ability, strong interpersonal skills, and solid commercial awareness. Applicants must also be eligible to work in the State. Brand awareness is considered an advantage.
