Job description
Role Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking a proactive and target-focused Services Sales Account Manager to expand services business in Qatar’s Oil & Gas market. The role is centered on growing strategic customer relationships and unlocking opportunities across the company’s services offering.
You will work across a broad services portfolio that includes recurring contracts, modernization, digital offerings, and lifecycle services. A solid grasp of Substation Control & Monitoring Systems (SCMS) is important for positioning higher-value solutions and contributing to technical discussions with customers.
What You Will Do
- Grow services sales across major Oil & Gas accounts in Qatar.
- Handle the end-to-end sales process, from identifying opportunities to preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders in engineering, operations, and senior leadership.
- Create and maintain a healthy pipeline across the services portfolio.
- Use SCMS expertise to spot opportunities for upgrades, modernization, and digital transformation.
- Work closely with tendering, execution, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has strong experience in services sales, technical sales, or the Oil & Gas sector, along with a proven record of creating business growth. GCC experience is preferred.
You should be comfortable discussing electrical distribution services, maintenance, and lifecycle solutions, and be able to manage complex commercial conversations with technical depth.
Required Technical Exposure
Hands-on knowledge of SCMS, substation automation, or power systems is important. Familiarity with protection relays, protection principles, power quality basics, and power monitoring/metering architectures will be valuable. Experience with MV and LV electrical distribution equipment is also expected.
Additional Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for a commercially minded professional who can engage customers effectively, build strong relationships, and stay focused on results.
