Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced ServiceNow consultant who brings deep platform knowledge and practical delivery experience across ITSM, SPM, ITOM, and Discovery. The role calls for strong integration capability, clear communication, and a commitment to building scalable, reliable ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and platform modules.
- Deliver and maintain solutions for ITSM, SPM, ITOM, and Discovery according to business needs.
- Develop and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server, and related integration tools.
- Set up and manage Discovery schedules, probes, sensors, and patterns.
- Handle platform-level configuration work such as workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer, and Service Catalog.
- Investigate and fix incidents, defects, and performance-related problems.
- Work with business users and technical teams to capture requirements and convert them into workable solutions.
- Support upgrades, patching cycles, and ongoing enhancements.
- Follow recommended practices for security, governance, and platform standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of practical, hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong background in ServiceNow integrations, including REST, SOAP, MID Server, and APIs.
- Demonstrated delivery experience in ITSM, SPM, ITOM, and Discovery.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, and the data model.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-SPM, or similar are preferred.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
- Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules is considered an advantage.
