Role Overview

The Service Porter helps keep the dealership’s service spaces orderly, sanitary, and safe. The position plays an important part in making sure the service department, workshop, customer waiting areas, and shared spaces present a professional image and support a positive customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Remove trash from bins every day and whenever needed.
• Keep the shop area clean and organized.
• Relocate used tires to the designated disposal area on a daily basis and as required.
• Pick up litter from the parking lot when necessary.
• Dispose of scrap metal in the correct designated locations.
• Make sure employee restrooms are clean and stocked with supplies.
• Break down boxes from the shop and parts department and place them in the recycling bin.
• Support the parts department whenever assistance is needed.
• Move vehicles around the facility as required.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role scheduled Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required when needed. The position is based onsite in Lakeland, Florida, and applicants must be able to reliably commute to the workplace. OKCARZ is a drug-free employer, and selection is subject to background and drug screening.

Compensation

Pay for this position is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
