Service Crew/Barista (Part-Time)

Role overview

Join a front-of-house service team at a specialty coffee brand and develop hands-on barista and café operations experience. The role includes learning pour-over drip techniques, espresso extraction, stock handling, day-to-day outlet operations, and basic supervisory exposure across specialty coffee bars at Chye Seng Huat Hardware and PPP Coffee outlets in Funan and New Bahru.

This opportunity is well-suited to someone who enjoys interacting with customers and working in a lively food and beverage setting. You will also get exposure to Singapore’s specialty coffee scene while being part of a homegrown coffee company.

Please note that PPP Coffee outlets at Funan and New Bahru, as well as Chye Seng Huat Hardware, are not halal establishments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee beverages, including brewing and extraction-based drinks.
• Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
• Support the smooth running of daily outlet operations.
• Place orders and keep track of inventory levels.
• Assist with internal and external event operations.
• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Clear tables and clean up used dishes after guests leave.
• Take on other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• A positive customer-first attitude.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to commit at least 50 hours per month.
• Availability for a minimum commitment of 3 months.

Additional information

This part-time position offers hourly pay between $10 and $14, with the exact rate depending on the length of commitment and the role assigned.
