Role overview
This position focuses on coordinating service activity, supporting technicians, and keeping customer updates accurate and timely. The salary for the role is $21.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Log incoming service requests into the company’s service management system.
- Allocate and dispatch service work to field technicians and service partners within the assigned territory.
- Prepare and submit field quotations and keep customers informed about the service agent’s estimated arrival time.
- Handle technician parts requests required to complete jobs, sourcing items from the internal warehouse or outside vendors when needed.
- Review and validate information received from field technicians and service partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in an interactive customer service setting is advantageous.
- Background in customer service, such as a call center or similar environment, is preferred.
- Experience working with industrial or commercial equipment is helpful.
- Ability to coordinate and distribute workload effectively to field or remote technicians.
- Dispatching experience is a plus, and parts-ordering experience is also valuable.
