Role overview
A multinational PLC in Cavan is looking to appoint a Senior Treasury Analyst on a permanent basis. The position follows a hybrid pattern with three days spent in the office. It is expected to suit candidates based in Cavan, North Dublin, or Meath. The salary is approximately €60,000 to €70,000 depending on experience, along with benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out treasury FX trade execution, confirmation, and settlement activities.
- Review and oversee trade finance facilities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with banking partners.
- Support the onboarding process for newly acquired businesses.
- Work with international teams to track and report trade transactions.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with internal controls, AML standards, and KYC obligations.
- Monitor bank interest and charges, and prepare related reporting.
- Contribute to ongoing reporting, analysis, and treasury support activity.
- Keep static data accurate and make sure control procedures are followed.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and project-related work when needed.
Candidate profile
- At least 2 years of experience in a treasury team or a financial services environment.
- Strong motivation, a collaborative mindset, and the flexibility to support change and improvement.
- Solid understanding of good-practice controls and procedural discipline.
- Interest in project work and innovation, with an inquisitive and improvement-focused approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across treasury, head office functions, business teams, systems providers, and banking contacts.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to bring new ideas forward.
- Strong academic background; experience in corporate treasury or finance is an advantage.
- Degree-level education, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
- Strong technical capability, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
