This role is part of a team that works closely with sales and customer stakeholders to support technical evaluations, drive business growth, and deliver product expertise across customer environments.
What you will do
- Partner with the sales team to win new business and grow relationships with existing end users, cloud providers, and hosting partners.
- Deliver product demonstrations both online and in person, while also supporting training and enablement sessions and taking part in joint customer meetings.
- Provide pre-sales guidance and hands-on assistance to customers evaluating Veeam solutions.
- Develop and nurture strong working relationships with customers and strategic partners alongside sales colleagues.
- Take part in Veeam marketing activities and events.
- Run product proof-of-concept engagements for prospects and customers.
- Prepare bills of materials, as well as responses for RFPs and RFQs based on customer requirements.
- Introduce new technologies and conduct training for both internal teams and customers.
- Independently spot, assess, and qualify business opportunities.
- Perform technical compliance reviews and competitive product analysis within the solution set.
- Bring practical experience working with hypervisors and cloud environments.
- Coordinate pre-sales work with customers together with Veeam solution architects, system integrators, and professional services teams.
Candidate profile
- You should be comfortable discussing business topics with stakeholders at different levels, including C-level executives.
- At least 5 years of experience as a system engineer is required.
- You can advise customers on future business direction while maintaining a strong customer experience on assigned accounts.
- You have strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- You are comfortable presenting to audiences in both remote and face-to-face settings.
- This position involves around 50% travel.
- You are proactive, quick to learn new technologies, and able to work independently.
- You can meet clients, gather requirements, and understand existing infrastructure in detail.
- You have working knowledge of VMware, Nutanix AHV, Red Hat, and Microsoft virtualization technologies in large-scale environments.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Azure and AWS and can position cloud technologies effectively.
Preferred knowledge
- VMCE certification is an advantage, and the company supports employees in earning VMCE and VMCA after joining.
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms is considered beneficial.
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL, DB2, and SAP is a plus.
- Understanding of privacy, data protection, and security standards such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, PDPL, NDMO, NCA, and SAMA is helpful.
- Familiarity with data security frameworks, including DSPM, is also an advantage.
