Rather than working through a conventional outsourcing model, you will join the client’s team directly as a key contributor. This setup is intended to offer greater ownership, clearer progression, and more stable long-term engagement.

Role Overview

This is a full-time independent contractor position based around Australian working hours. The role is focused on generating sales pipeline and securing qualified discovery meetings with senior finance leaders across the APAC region.

The position suits an ambitious sales professional who is comfortable speaking with CFOs, Finance Directors, and VP-level finance executives. The work will centre on outbound outreach, lead qualification, and arranging meetings for the consulting and advisory function.

Experience in selling financial technology, consulting services, or enterprise software will be especially valuable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 50 to 80 outbound calls each day to reach senior stakeholders in finance.
  • Engage with CFOs, Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, and VP Finance leaders.
  • Assess prospects using the company’s Magic35 qualification framework.
  • Secure high-quality discovery calls for senior consultants and sales leadership.
  • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and structured follow-up.
  • Keep CRM data current and track activity accurately.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to improve lead generation performance.
  • Assist with demand generation around conferences, networking activities, and finance-related events across APAC.
  • Meet monthly targets for booked meetings and pipeline creation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects throughout the qualification journey.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, SDR, business development, or lead generation.
  • Demonstrated success selling to CFOs, Finance Directors, VP Finance, or similar senior finance decision-makers.
  • Strong background in high-volume outbound calling and prospecting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle objections and build rapport.
  • Prior experience setting qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives or consultants.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setup.
  • Must have experience selling into the Australian market.
