About the Role
A rapidly growing, Series B fintech company, recognized for its innovative approach in the AI consumer finance sector and supported by prominent Silicon Valley investors, is seeking a Lead Recruiter. This pivotal role is crucial for managing talent acquisition during a significant expansion phase. The company operates at the nexus of wealth management, consumer fintech, and AI-driven advisory services, managing over $1 billion in client assets. The company's future success is contingent on attracting top talent, making this position instrumental.
What You'll Own
You will be responsible for the complete recruitment lifecycle, encompassing roles across engineering, advisory, product, design, and go-to-market (GTM) functions. This position involves close collaboration with the CEO, focusing on developing candidate pipelines, refining job descriptions, effectively communicating the company's value proposition to senior-level candidates, and successfully closing competitive offers while maintaining high hiring standards.
Who This Role Is For
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned individual contributor (IC) recruiter with a proven track record of managing full-cycle recruitment in high-growth technology environments. Candidates should be adept at building outbound candidate pipelines from the ground up and skilled in securing candidates who have multiple employment options. Alternatively, individuals who have previously led talent acquisition at Series A to C stage companies and are keen to remain hands-on rather than purely managerial are encouraged to apply. Those transitioning from agency or search firm backgrounds will be valued for their pace, outbound recruitment discipline, candidate management expertise, and readiness to operate at a senior internal level.
What Success Looks Like
Demonstrated strength in outbound recruitment strategies. Direct experience in recruiting engineers and GTM professionals within competitive markets is essential. A high degree of emotional intelligence for engaging with founders and senior stakeholders is required. The ability to articulate and represent a premium company narrative is key. Candidates should be based in the New York area and comfortable with a fast-paced, in-person work culture.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $210,000, along with significant equity in a company at a crucial growth stage. This role offers direct access to founders, a high-impact mandate, and the chance to significantly influence the development of a talent function within a company poised for notable success.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, requiring 5 days per week in the office. The role reports directly to the CEO.
