Senior QA/QC Manager

Role Overview

The Senior QA/QC Manager will lead the quality assurance and quality control function by shaping policies, procedures, and supervisory methods that keep work aligned with project quality plans, applicable regulations, and internal standards. The role is focused on protecting service and product quality, supporting customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement across processes and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project QA/QC plan so it fully reflects project quality requirements.
• Set project quality targets that are aligned with corporate IMS objectives, and monitor the status of QA/QC submissions while reviewing technical documents.
• Create and operate a control framework for suppliers and subcontractors, including site audit activities.
• Participate in all relevant meetings and coordinate quality-related requirements with the project owner, consultant, and project management team.
• Review material submissions and method statements from the contractor to confirm compliance with project quality expectations.
• Prepare the project QA/QC plan and oversee any updates or revisions to ensure continued alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
• Ensure the project QA/QC plan is completed within 30 days from contract commencement and approved by the consultant.
• Carry out plan reviews on a quarterly basis, or sooner if project needs require it.
• Track, record, and communicate all amendments to the QA/QC plan to the relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and update quality objectives within 30 days from project start, ensuring consistency with corporate QMS objectives and client requirements.
• Maintain control over supplier and subcontractor quality arrangements.

Experience and Education

The position requires at least 15 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a relevant supervisory role and 5 years of GCC experience, which is mandatory. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another engineering discipline such as architecture. A professional certification in Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent) or ASQC certification (CQM/CQE) is also required.
