Role overview

This opportunity is for a Senior Project Manager / Technical Project Manager (TPM) in Ireland, with applications handled by a partner hiring company. The role is centered on leading delivery for advanced financial technology products that sit across digital finance, payments, and blockchain. You will coordinate complex mobile and platform work, keep delivery highly predictable, and ensure engineering execution remains transparent and well controlled.

The position calls for a blend of delivery leadership and technical understanding. You will work with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to turn strategic goals into actionable plans, guide releases to completion, and strengthen delivery practices across teams. This is well suited to someone who enjoys operating in fast-moving, highly regulated technology environments and who can balance business priorities with technical realities.

Key accountabilities

  • Oversee the full delivery journey for mobile and fintech initiatives, covering technical discovery, planning, deployment, and post-release improvement.
  • Take ownership of forecasting, delivery schedules, and governance so plans remain realistic and execution stays predictable.
  • Maintain project tracking tools and keep documentation current so progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies remain visible at all times.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks ready for development.
  • Support smooth communication across functions and help teams work through technical and operational issues effectively.
  • Improve project management practices on an ongoing basis, including sprint planning, estimation accuracy, and delivery standards.
  • Serve as the connection point between leadership and technical teams, ensuring strategic priorities move forward without unnecessary executive escalation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, delivery management, or technical program management, ideally in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • A solid technical base in software development, QA, business analysis, or a similar area, with the ability to understand APIs, backend architecture, system design, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional software teams and shipping complex digital products in agile settings.
  • Strong command of Scrum, Kanban, and flexible agile approaches, with the judgment to adapt methods to business needs.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication, including the confidence to question assumptions, estimates, and requirements when needed.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Russian.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and other modern project management tools for planning, reporting, and workflow oversight.
