Job description
Role overview
This is a senior product operations opportunity based in Ireland and offered on behalf of a partner employer. All applications and the next stages of the hiring process are handled by that company directly.
The role brings together product, data, and commercial strategy. Its purpose is to turn product usage signals into outcomes the business can measure and act on. You will help define how product performance is monitored, interpreted, and used across teams. A major part of the job is creating scalable analytics structures and self-serve reporting that allow product and cross-functional teams to make confident decisions based on data. You will work closely with engineering, data, and product leadership to protect data quality, keep metrics consistent, and ensure analysis supports wider business goals. You will also convert complex findings into clear recommendations that inform roadmap choices and executive-level decisions. This is a high-impact position for someone who is strategic, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Key accountabilities
- Carry out detailed analysis of product and user behavior to identify usage trends, points of friction, retention influences, and opportunities to grow revenue.
- Create and manage reporting frameworks that tie product metrics to business results such as retention, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Design dashboards, templates, and self-service analytics resources so product teams can independently access and interpret data.
- Work with engineering and data teams to define, roll out, and maintain event tracking, data models, and governance standards.
- Protect the accuracy, consistency, and dependability of product data across analytics platforms and BI tools.
- Turn analytical findings into practical recommendations that support roadmap planning and executive reporting.
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-focused product role.
- Experience building or scaling product analytics systems in SaaS or platform-based environments.
- Strong SQL capability, along with practical use of BI and analytics platforms such as Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of KPIs, data modeling, event tracking, and product instrumentation.
- Ability to connect product usage data with business outcomes and strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data and influence stakeholders across functions.
- Highly organized and process-driven, with strong collaboration skills across teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to manage both long-term direction and detailed execution.
Benefits
- Compensation aligned with experience and market standards.
- Flexible fully remote working arrangement.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Generous paid leave and paid family leave policies.
- 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching.
- Mental health support and wellness initiatives.
- Flexible spending and health savings account options.
- Support for home office setup and remote work allowances.
- Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Inclusive, collaborative, high-performance workplace culture.
