Job description

Opportunity

AirHelp is a global travel technology business focused on making journeys easier and less stressful. The company first became known for helping passengers claim compensation for disrupted flights, and has since expanded into a wider set of travel protection and convenience offerings across the full trip lifecycle.

After more than thirteen years of handling millions of flight disruption claims, AirHelp has developed a highly accurate flight data foundation. This includes live flight status, schedules and route intelligence, historical delay and cancellation trends, and proprietary signals used to predict disruptions.

Flight Data Services V1 is already in market, with the first commercial deals underway. The business is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of this product and grow it into a meaningful revenue stream, partnering closely with an experienced sales organisation that already works with OTAs, TMCs, airlines, and travel technology companies around the world.

This is a build-and-scale role. The product is live, the channel to market exists, and the focus is on turning both into sustained growth.

What you will lead

  • Shape and own the product roadmap for live flight status APIs, schedule and route feeds, historic delay data, and disruption prediction signals, with priorities based on partner demand and commercial impact.
  • Keep a close pulse on partner requirements through sales discussions, direct conversations with partners, and API usage insights, then convert those findings into a development plan that improves adoption and revenue per integration.
  • Improve the quality of the data, strengthen API uptime and reliability, and elevate the developer experience so the product becomes a durable commercial differentiator.
  • Act as the go-to product expert for the sales team by providing positioning, competitor insights, integration documentation, and demo materials that help move deals forward faster.
  • Work directly with strategic partners on both technical and business topics, helping them evaluate the product and build confidence for long-term adoption.
  • Design and refine packaging and commercial structures such as data tiers, API access options, and bundled use cases so they align with how OTAs, TMCs, airlines, and travel tech partners capture value.
  • Spot opportunities to expand revenue through upselling and cross-selling within AirHelp’s existing partner base.
  • Define the key measures of success, including active integrations, API usage growth, pilot-to-paid conversion, and revenue per partner.
  • Set up reporting and analytics systems that provide clear visibility into product performance and support leadership-level prioritisation.

Expected outcomes in the first 12 months

  • Achieve measurable revenue expansion through new partner launches and deeper penetration in existing accounts.
  • Release at least one additional data capability or pricing tier beyond V1, backed by partner demand.
  • Create a repeatable onboarding process that shortens time to launch for new integrations and reduces reliance on engineering support.
  • Deliver a live performance dashboard covering adoption, usage, and revenue for regular leadership review.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience owning a B2B data or API product with a commercial licensing model, ideally in travel, aviation, logistics, or another data-heavy industry.
  • A clear understanding of what makes a data product hard to replace, including coverage, freshness, schema stability, service-level commitments, and the surrounding developer experience.
  • Hands-on experience working alongside a B2B sales team as the product specialist, including support for commercial discussions, messaging, and resolution of technical objections.
  • The ability to turn product capabilities into partner value and translate partner feedback into a stronger roadmap.
  • A commercial mindset that connects product choices to growth outcomes such as adoption, expansion revenue, and retention rather than only feature delivery.
  • Strong analytical product management habits, including defining success metrics before launch and using partner data to steer decisions.
  • Understanding of how OTAs, TMCs, and airlines assess and integrate third-party data products; familiarity with flight data standards such as OAG, FlightStats, and IATA, or with disruption regulations such as EU261 and DOT, is a major plus.

Benefits

  • High ownership with trust-based working: the role is focused on outcomes rather than micromanaged tasks.
  • Direct impact on millions of travellers through the product you build.
  • Support for professional growth through development plans, workshops, mentoring, and language learning.
  • Flexible benefits including gym support, learning budget, childcare assistance, or transport and travel subsidies, depending on your choice.
  • Ability to work from anywhere for up to 2 weeks each year.
  • A mission-led environment dedicated to supporting travellers and challenging unfair practices.
