About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager to spearhead AI safety and readiness initiatives for a prominent bank in the UAE. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution, leading critical projects focused on testing AI safety as part of a significant multi-billion dollar investment over the coming years.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI safety and readiness projects within a banking context.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Oversee initiatives for testing the safety and reliability of AI systems.
- Manage project teams and multiple squads, depending on project scope.
- Ensure AI deployments adhere to the bank's stringent risk and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and corporate finance divisions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8-12 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in management, including direct reports and leading multiple project squads.
- Expertise in developing and implementing evaluation frameworks for Generative AI.
- Proficiency in creating and applying evaluation frameworks for predictive Machine Learning models.
- Extensive hands-on experience in ML and MLOps Engineering.
- Solid understanding and practical application of AI Governance, ethics, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong stakeholder management and business acumen.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and corporate finance departments.
