Job description

Role overview

This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Group Head of Risk & Compliance. The role sits within noon, an ecosystem of digital products and services designed to support everyday life across the Middle East. The company aims to deliver to every door every day and is looking for a compliance leader who can help accelerate that mission.

What you will do

  • Create, roll out, and oversee a unified compliance management system for the group across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt.
  • Set up compliance control libraries and align them with relevant financial rules, including those from SAMA and the Central Bank of the UAE, as well as transportation regulations such as TGA, RTA, and LTRA.
  • Lead complex cross-border investigations involving corporate fraud, conflicts of interest, and anti-bribery / anti-corruption matters, including FCPA-related issues.
  • Develop and strengthen third-party risk management processes, with KYC, CDD, and enhanced due diligence built into vendor onboarding and fleet operations.
  • Oversee compliance controls on the ground, including police safety requirements, Ministry of Labor / MoHRE nationalization quotas, and compliance monitoring for delivery associates.
  • Keep the wider group continuously prepared for audits by running self-audit remediation work and aiming for very high readiness levels before external or board-level reviews.
  • Turn anonymized compliance incidents into focused training and communications initiatives, with a target of keeping completion rates above 90% to reinforce an ethical culture.

Experience and qualifications

  • You should bring at least 8 years of corporate experience in total, including more than 6 years leading regional or global compliance and ethics programs in heavily regulated multinational settings.
  • Relevant background may come from industries such as healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, or global logistics.
  • A demonstrated history of managing cross-border investigations, third-party due diligence, and trade compliance in complex regional structures is required.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical capability and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience working across several markets or regional operating models will be considered an advantage.

About the team and working style

Team noon is described as fast-moving, highly capable, and demanding. The environment is built for people who work hard, take initiative, and thrive in ambitious settings. Success here requires adaptability, the ability to pivot quickly, and a willingness to keep learning.

Who is likely to excel

  • People who hold themselves to very high standards and value disciplined effort.
  • Self-starters who are resourceful and act quickly when challenges arise.
  • Individuals who are comfortable thinking independently and bringing original ideas.
  • Candidates who can adapt easily to change and are open to learning new approaches.
