This opportunity is for a senior-level instructional design professional based in Germany. Key accountabilities
- Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to create blended learning programs that support organizational goals.
- Use instructional design methods and adult learning theory to build learner-focused and engaging experiences.
- Develop multiple learning formats such as eLearning modules, self-directed courses, virtual sessions, and on-the-job learning activities.
- Maintain strong standards for consistency, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness across all learning assets and channels.
- Apply generative AI tools, including custom GPTs, to strengthen learning design and delivery.
- Own instructional design projects from start to finish, including schedules, resources, and stakeholder updates.
- Improve learning solutions continuously by using feedback, data insights, and new learning technologies.
What the role requires
- Background in instructional design, learning experience design, or corporate learning and development.
- Solid grasp of adult learning principles and evidence-based learning design approaches.
- Hands-on experience creating blended learning solutions across formats such as eLearning, virtual training, and self-paced modules.
- Comfort using generative AI tools and applying them in learning design contexts.
- Understanding of large language models, including GPT-based systems, along with their strengths and limitations.
- Ability to prototype or configure AI-supported learning solutions such as custom GPTs or similar tools.
