Role overview

SHEIN Singapore is seeking a well-rounded HR specialist to lead HR operations and related projects across APAC, excluding China. In this position, you will partner with global HR Centers of Excellence to design and roll out HR solutions, initiatives, and campaigns that suit local working practices and cultural expectations.

This is an individual contributor role that calls for practical project ownership, strong communication and people skills, a service-focused mindset, and the ability to work with a growth-oriented approach.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full employee journey from entry to exit.
  • Localize and deliver HR campaigns and projects across areas such as performance management, learning and development, and HR systems.
  • Keep HR systems updated and accurate while supporting a smooth user experience.
  • Handle monthly payroll processing.
  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Strengthen company culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Look for ways to improve HR processes, stay current with market practices, and follow local guidelines.
  • Support additional HR projects or tasks as assigned by the line manager.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, including strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, payroll, and HR project work.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and a highly thorough working style.
  • A customer-focused and results-driven approach with a forward-thinking mindset.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
