Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role will provide crucial support for our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager for FP&A. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to the organization by ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting, conducting variance analysis, and actively participating in annual operating planning.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reports detailing financial performance and key metrics.
- Consolidate data from various sources to facilitate timely analysis and accurate financial distributions.
- Support financial planning initiatives, including the execution of annual planning, forecasting, and capital budgeting processes.
- Develop financial models and maintain data repositories to aid organizational decision-making.
- Spearhead process enhancements by creating standardized and ad-hoc analytics, reports, and tools.
- Engage in diverse cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively with other departments.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as required to address critical organizational priorities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with expertise in data management.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
- Maintain strong financial acumen and proficiency in month-end closing procedures.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and intermediate abilities in other MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Display integrity, flexibility, adaptability, sound judgment, and critical thinking.
